You can reach Toledo from Madrid by highway or rail. The nearest airport is Barajas, in Madrid, just over 70 minutes by car.

To reach Madrid there are buses with a frequency of 30 minutes and ten daily services by rail. In both cases, the trip takes little over an hour to the terminals of the capital of Spain (South Bus Station and Atocha Station), which allow immediate links: buses, subways, commuter trains to other destinations and airport of Barajas. In the case of using the vehicle the journey is shorter, 45 to the center of Madrid and the Air Terminal 60-70. From the bus station in Toledo may be linked to other destinations in the province or region.

PARKING:

The complexity of the historical city, the establishment of regulated areas and excessive distances do not recommend the use of parking.
Toledo is the perfect city for walking. All monuments, museums and places of interest are very close to each other; should wear comfortable shoes and appropriate because there are many hills and most streets are paved with small pebbles.

URBAN TRANSPORT:

From the railway station you can take a bus to Zocodover (historical) coming out moments after the arrival of each train.
From the square of Zocodover can be reached through the bus, basic to all destinations.
From the bus station you can take the lines 5 and 6 to reach the center.
Ticket price: 0.85 € / Frequency: 15 to 20 minutes.
There is also a large fleet of taxis, whose stops are on the Cuesta del Alcazar, Paseo de la Vega and the bus station.
